As Eclipse pulled back he smiled, swiftly wiping tears from the very corners of his eyes before his sister could see. In a flash Cecillia was in the air, jumping into Sam’s arms as he reached out to carry her, laughing. As they stood together in the doorway, truly a family for the first time, the sunlight from Christmas morning shown brightly through the windows, and the neatly-decorated pine glistened and sparkled in tune.

I hope you’ve all enjoyed our special little holiday tale! It’s always fun exploring the histories of characters at different points in their lives. Bet you didn’t know Eclipse and Cecillia were taken in by a widowed Human, huh? There’s so much more to tell…but that’s for another time.
